It is easy to reach the principal points of interest. We are 20 minutes from the Maracana stadium, half an hour from Sugar Loaf and - the third Modern Wonder of the World – Corcovado. We are also 15 minutes from the city centre and Lapa the bohemian, musical centre of Rio. A ten minute Metrô ride will take you to the most famous beach in the world, Copacabana.
Our suggestion for a trip into the city centre is to take the tram, which today is a tourist attraction in itself, being more than one hundred years old and part of the historical heritage of the city. After passing over the arches of the ancient aqueduct in Lapa, you will arrive at Largo da Carioca, right in the centre of town.
